House on Haunted Hill - Netflix, is rather brilliant.. finished the series last night.
Reminded me of the theatre at times, love the pacing and rapid change in focus, acting is excellent. It is an award winner, no question.

just started that one. it seems that the ideas of series, the plots start to become pretty repetitive. but... its nothing better on apart from
4 Blocks.
i binged
Narcos
Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
Gomorrha
Marseille
Cannabis
El Chapo
Fauda
Mad Man
Peaky Blinders
Top Boy
Luther
Bloodline
Les Grandes Grandes Vacances
still House of Cards is open for me from halfway of season 4.

btw I finally saw 'the Bodyguard' i love Keeley Hawes but i found 'Line of Duty' better (also Jed mercurio, also Keeley)

Highly recommend it.

Highly recommend it. | | | | | We started it last night with only the first episode. Intrigued, interested, not blown away yet, but again only one episode.

We finished watching The Haunting of Hill House and thought it was excellent: well written, great acting and very good editing. Highly recommend | This user would like to thank for this useful post:

yeah the TV show - i was confused too initially https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ha...se_(TV_series)
i've just braved myself to see the first episode, its not that bad (scarewise) but everyone looks the same (the mother, the daughter grown up) and the flipping back and forth time line makes it hard to follow. however it has potential.

Excellent.

Same here! I had to spend some time reading up on the episode after, and taking notes on the names to try and make some sense of it!

Attention span? What's that?
At the start, concentrate on the children, their conversations and interactions, not the house or the environment.. HTHs a wee-bit | This user would like to thank for this useful post:

The Little Drummer Girl on the BBC got off to a promising start, I loved The Night Manager, so was keen to see more from that production team.

Excellent. | | | | | I can totally agree! I just finished it and found it to be very well thought through. In the beginning there where a few rather boring ones where they introduced all the characters.
I wonder how and if continuation could work. Maybe the past of the house would be interesting...

Overall very impressed, excellent writing, and acting, filming and cinematography very good. Highly recommend (that last episode I didn't care for). They used quite a few monologues--but they were almost all very moving!
