I had great expectations about BoredChurch but after watching two episodes I was rather dissappointed.

I'm reviving this thread with 2 new additions for summer TV that we've recently started watching:
- Orange is the new black
- Crossing lines

We are loving..
"The White Queen" and "Luther ", both BBC 1.

just got through House of Cards - really good show if you like the political type drama series. Kevin Spacey is absolutely brilliant

I really liked "House of Cards" as well, and it's great to see that a new season of "Luther" has just started. This reminds me that there is also "Copper", another BBC (America) show.

Has anyone been following the new season of "Dexter"?? any opinions..

have just watched first two episodes .. i think they are losing it.. anyone sharing the same opinion...?

Ah, summer break for teachers..I catch up with some of my fav funky stuff.

Parks and Reservations, coz she is blonde and fabulously airheaded
Community, coz of that hilarious Spanish teacher
IT Crowd, coz it reminds me of the internet and EF geeks
New Girl, coz Schmidt is a real hero
Adventure Time, coz everyone needs to be blankied and souped every now and then

I have and I disagree. I think this season is better than the previous one so far. Loving how Debs losing her way, Vogel's entry in Dexter's life is mixing the series up. Read somewhere that it is the last season!

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this show already, but I am hooked on Ray Donovan! Awesome cast!



others currently on my list are Luther, the Newsroom and a few Scandi crime series. The Scandinavians sure know how to make a great crime series!

Breaking Bad and The Wire are masterpieces of TV...Sons of Anarchy, Ray Donovan, Homeland and The Walking Dead are more guilty pleasures but also quite enjoyable.

I agree - this is why I didn't revive this post:Which US TV Series is as good as The Wire? - since I'm not sure if these new shows will fall under that category

I had read long time back that the previous season was supposed to be the last season .. and now they are just lingering on .. with this new Vogel character .. and Debs losing her way.. dunno I somehow think .. is just weird.. i mean .. in the previous season they could have ended the show .. but it seemed like in the end they decided lets take it to another season and make some more money.. so lets kill LaGuerta .. and now to justify the killing .. they making Deb's character .. as if she is losing it ..as in where is the story going .. just my opinion ... they are just trying too hard to make a new story ..and that Vogel character .. doesn fit .. and i am sure they would come around with some twists and turns around that character in the end ..they cant come up with anything else ..

yep downloaded the first 3 episodes - 4th is out on the 21st. looking good so far
