Re: Quickline internet, telephony & digital tv provider
I can't tell you about cost because we've not received a bill yet, despite having the service for about 2 months. It seems to be a reliable, reasonable product, certainly as good, if not better than what I had in the US (unbundled broadband, cable and landline). Not sure if that says much.
When we checked prices, it did appear that quickline was the best deal - we call a lot to the US. The telephone service is fine - good and clear, no weird echo on the cordless when we're talking to a moblie or to a phone in the US. We have digital TV, but we're borrowing a tiny TV and we just have basic channels. The selection of channels is ok, I guess. I don't watch a lot of TV. The internet is reliable. There are three internet options - we're on the lowest speed, and it's been up all the time and certainly no worse than the cable modem i had in the US. When I connect to the system that I'm working on in the US via VPN, I find it sluggish - considerably more sluggish than when I lived 3 miles away from the system. We're thinking of upgrading once I start to work more regularly.
I'm in Bern, btw - Belp, actually. Hope that's somewhat helpful.
