Steg - anyone have any experience with their own brand machines?

I quite fancy the i7 own-brand desktop box they have on special for CHF800 at the moment.

Anyone have any idea what their quality and service are like?

I've had one of theirs for a few years now. No problems - but I technically invalidated the guarantee as soon as I got it, by opening it up to put in various gadgets.

mordae has made some interesting contributions
Re: Steg - anyone have any experience with their own brand machines?

I had one for a long time, still do in fact. Only reason I don't use it much any more is it has become obsolete. But still working very well after many years.

The fact that I don't know anything about their service should say enough about the quality of the product.

Re: Steg - anyone have any experience with their own brand machines?

I've had a Steg box for about 4 years now, never had a problem.

YMMV of course but the one I've got seems pretty solid.

I have one of them running without problem, a cheap box with preinstalled Linux.
