There are many possible reasons. In which Area/Street do you live? And since when is your line activated? It can take some time (1-2 weeks) until the highest profile (means highest possible bandwidth) is activated. If you know how to login to your router, you could also post the dB values of your line connection!

Me too! Upgrades coming soon to fix though. Mine is due July - yours may be different.

Remember to get your account downgraded - no point paying for channels you don't get!

Re: Poor Swisscom bandwidth

One has to have Swisscom come to your house to install a Digital Steckdoser ( Splitter ). Thats what I had to do to get the required HD.

These are easy to install. But for VDSL, they do tend to send an engineer out.

All this splitter does is to separate the Voice from the digital so you can have *DSL and telephone calls over the same piece of cable.

You can test your speed here: http://www.speedtest.net/ or view it in your router.

Its not the splitter that is used to separate Voice and digital-that is something other which is ALWAYS necessary.
See the pictures in support forum.

Re: Poor Swisscom bandwidth

Yes, I know I have one. It's no different to a ADSL splitter. It is connected to the phone line coming into the house, then has two outputs, one for your internet (which is also used for Swisscom TV if you have it) and the second output for voice.

Re: Poor Swisscom bandwidth

It's just a splitter one cable in with voice and DSL signal two out one with voice one with Digital Network.

Not exactly rocket science.

Well we have 10 MB in our street, but HD needs 15, apparently.
May look at putting up a satellite
