I need help with TV+internet+phone set up

hi guys
since only one provider is available in Basel-land, i had to go for InterGGA/Breitband which has everything in german.
Now that I have received my router and my modem, I have to set up my TV+internet+phone and I am a little bit lost.
I have a socket similar to this so I have put the antenna cable in it and the other end directly into my TV (which has a built in DVB-C tuner) but I see only 40 out of 160 channels.
What to do with the router? should i plug it in with that special cable with a screwing end separately or should it be connected to the antenna cable in some way?
pls help!

Re: I need help with TV+internet+phone set up

Read this it should be same with your modem

The Tv antenna cable should go in modem and then connect modem to TV. with Scart or HDMI cable
http://www.upc-cablecom.ch/en/quick_...speed_in01.pdf
or video. http://www.upc-cablecom.ch/en/b2c/su..._allgemein.htm

Forget about multi media plug-you dont have that.

Re: I need help with TV+internet+phone set up

thanks but i do not have a mediabox, only the router and the wi-fi modem so I believe what I have to do is connecting directly the tv with the antenna and separately the router with the modem (throu another cable).
hopefully it should work...

Re: I need help with TV+internet+phone set up

Well the modem will connect to the router (ethernet port). Use an ethernet cable. Then the router will connect to the Computer ethernet port with second ethernet cable.Thats for Internet.
The Telephone cable should connect direct to modem.
Without a Media box you only get 40 TV stations unless you use CI-Slot and card ( if your TV has this). Here the CI modul

Yes but I think you also need something like this card from your provider

Unfortunately without a Set top box you cannot record programs.
