Orange customer be warned

If you have recently converted your paper bills to e-bill (the last 3-5 months), make sure they have credited the CHF10 that they promised for doing something good for the enviroment, double check your bills!

I have been checking my e-bills every month now for the last 3 months, and everytime I called up the Customer Service to inform them that it has not been credited, they always promise me they will put it in the system and it will be done next month.

This month, I got too frustrated to pay my bills and told Orange that either they send me a new invoice with the CHF10 discount, or I will not pay my bills. I told them it is not the matter of money as it is a small amount, it is more a promise which they cannot deliver that upset me.

The Customer Service promised to send me the amended bill by this week. Lets wait and see if they do it..

My 2 years contract ends in August and guess who is losing another customer?

Re: Orange customer be warned

So just an update. Orange sent me an amended copy with the CHF10 discount which they promised me!
Looks like you have to push them to the limit before they give in! They even have the cheek to enclose with the new bill a direct debit form.. I am guessing most people do not check their bills when it is direct debit....

But anyway, switching back to Swisscomm after my contract ends.

I have NO direct debits. If they want money they can send me the bill. I do have 4 regular payment orders, and this way I can avoid any mistakes.

Never do direct debit unless it is for my home country as I still maintain my phone number there.

Be aware, that this is illegal in CH. You cannot withhold payment for services rendered.

Have you taken the name and time/date of every conversation you had with customer services.

Writing a letter to the CEO with this information would be more effective and the legal option.
