I need your advice, as maybe someone had such an experience before.
So yesterday I lost my phone with a swiss SIM card inside (or maybe it was stolen, I don't know). It was the Orange prepaid card, and the phone was moderately old Nokia E51. The phone was low on battery yesterday and when I noticed I didn't have it, I tried to call it from the other phone, but it was unreachable, so I guess the battery was already dead. What would be your advice on what to do now? I live in Zurich, the thing happened in Lausanne and anyway I can't walk around for a couple of days, as I twisted my ankle on the same trip
Back at home where I come from, I wouldn't expect that anyone would give the phone back to the police or the lost+found office, but do you think it's worthwile contacting them here in CH? Also, I kind of care about the mobile number, since I put it as my contact number in a couple of places and all my friends know it - do you have any experience on getting a duplicate of a SIM card (prepaid Orange)? (Or maybe I should just get myself a gift and buy a new card with an iPhone? :P)
Thanks for any thoughts
