Help! Prepaid phone

Hi all,

I want to get a cheap mobile phone with a prepaid simcard. I already have a work phone but I want a substitute for situations where I donīt want to bring it with me (e.g. nights out).

Someone told me that I should get a Swisscom mobile and then buy a Mbudget simcard... is this a good option?

I'm quite surprised since in my home country you cannot plug a simcard of a provider in a device bought in another one... isnīt that a problem in Switzerland?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Re: Help! Prepaid phone

You can buy a M-Budget phone AND an M-Budget SIM card. Or ditto with Coop, or Aldi. Aldi might be the cheapest.

There are 3 providers here, Swisscom, Sunrise and Orange, and the 3 supermarkets are offering cheap deals with one of those.

Swisscom has the best coverage inside buildings.

Re: Help! Prepaid phone

I finaly went to Migros and got an M-budget phone and simcard (20 CHF in total with 15 already included in the simcard).

Totally what I needed!

Thank you!
