I hope someone can give me some tips on what is wrong -

I've had Swisscom VDSL for some time now and everything has been working fine up today - now suddenly one of the PCs is unable to connect to the internet: "No Internet Access", it is connecting to the router OK, but it can't get to the internet.... all the other devices (Mac, IPad, IPod & another laptop) are connecting without any issues...

I've done all the usual stuff - rebooted, deleted the connection and recreated it and still no good....

Any ideas?

If W-Lan/wireless works for all other devices but not for your PC it's not a Swisscom problem. Your PC just can't connect anymore. I am a Mac guy, so I don't know the troubleshooting for Windows in such a situation. You have to google it I guess.

Are you wireless or using an ethernet cord? If you're wireless, sometimes it helps to connect with a cord to do the delete/recreate of the network.

Is the laptop you are talking about running Windows 7, and did you recently - as in last week - download the latest round of updates that Msoft pushed to you?

If so, I may have the answer.................

We had the same problem a few weeks ago, (one computer could not connect but the others could, deleted and re did the connection without success) called swisscom and they walked us through a reset on the box which worked.
