Just had a flyer through the post from our local electricity company in Oberrohrdorf for their new FLASH-Line product. Basically, this is a fibre-optic connection to the home (TV/Internet/Telephone package)
Some info is here:

If we sign up for 5 years, they waive the installation fee of 1800CHF, or it's halved if you sign up for a year.
There's really not much information about the finer details of the telephone charges (e.g. phoning Germany, UK) or about the TV packages. Also, it would be interesting to see what the TV hardware is, and options for a second box, etc, etc.
In preparation, Enemag have started digging around people's houses (which really annoyed one neighbour as he suddenly had a 1m wide crater outside his front door, without warning!)
Would be an interesting alternative to UPC/Swisscom/Sunrise.
Opinions ?
Cheers,
Chris
