I have a lot of issues with my ps3 lately, such as not being able to join some public matches and slow download speeds. Rebooting the router usually fixes the problem for a couple of hours, but I've seen online some tutorials about putting the ps3 in DMZ to resolve these issues.
Thing is, I can't see a "DMZ" option on the router's "control panel" (192.168.1.1), so I don't know if it's even possible to do so.
Also, another solution would be to install a custom firmware such as tomato or dd-wrt to "add" that feature, but I don't think my router is compatible with it.
If anybody can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

It might help if you can specify the make, model and firmware version of the router. Perhaps someone else on EF might have the same model and can assist you further. And welcome to the forum, btw.
