Arrived at Migros in Oerlikon at 8:50am and there was already a line out the door. All the tablets were sold, total of 30, about 5 minutes after the store opened. I left empty handed, oh well.

Went to a couple of Migros early and no sign of the offer !

I think they only have a limited supply to get people into the store. Bait and switch.

btw, is this the 7" tablet? i don't see anything about whether it is p3110 or p5110.

It's for the 7" model.

The P5110 was out at 229 in InterDiscount last week.

If you missed this deal then the 8.9 at 222 might be your best bargain - if Melectronics is still selling it.

oh, i've been following those, too. but for samsung, i am tempted to get the 7.7", although i haven't seen any discounts on that one yet. well, it is the banned version, i think, but still there were some available, though not at a 'deal' price.
for a 7", a quad-core nexus would be more attractive, i think.
to be honest, i'll possibly get one as gps in the car with an offline navigation software. (ok, i've seen today's qoqa deal, too)

well, the matter is, i don't necessarily need one. 'a good deal' would be the excuse to get one )

At Migros Dreispitz Basel the clerk offered me the 8.9 for the same price (149.-) first, but I wanted the smaller one. The older couple next to me were looking at the box of what I assume was the last 7" Tab 2 but they were more interested in the larger model. So we switched and are both happy

Sold out in the one Bern City branch I checked, presumably hours ago...
