hi,
this series is a massive improvement over the previous one. Might even rewatch the one from last night and that it is not something I ever thought of doing for the previous series.
Have fun
Martin

Last Sunday was back in the typical Dr. Who mold, enjoyable.
I wanted to record it but it clashed timewise with Guardians of the Galaxy which I picked because it was longer.
Managed to find a free site that showed the Dr. Who episode tonight, just missed out the opening music and the preview of next week.

Martin | | | | | Because I wanted to watch the Sunday show on Monday and I did not want to pay CHF 10.- for timeshift TV just to watch one show.

All change!
"Jodie Whittaker is to step down from the lead role in Doctor Who, the BBC has confirmed.
The first woman to play the Time Lord will bow out in Autumn 2022, along with showrunner Chris Chibnall.
Whittaker will star in a new six-part series later this year, and three specials next year, before she exits."
"Chibnall is currently writing and producing the next series of Doctor Who, which will air later this year. It will be followed by three specials, the first of which will be broadcast on New Year's Day 2022, with another later in spring 2022.
Whittaker's final feature-length special, where the 13th Doctor will regenerate, will transmit in autumn 2022 as part of the BBC's Centenary celebrations.
Speculation will now turn to who Whittaker's replacement might be, as Doctor Who approaches its 60th anniversary in 2023." https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-57940451 |

I hope Chibnall is less preachy for the next series and we get back to good story lines.

Russell Davies back in charge.
"Screenwriter Russell T Davies is to take charge again of Doctor Who, the sci-fi show he helped revive in 2005.
Davies, who was the fantasy drama's showrunner until 2009, will take over when Chris Chibnall departs next year.
"I'm beyond excited to be back on my favourite show," said Davies, who resumes his role as the show prepares to mark its 60th anniversary in 2023.
One of his first responsibilities will be to decide who takes over the Tardis following Jodie Whittaker's exit.
The actress is set to hang up her Sonic Screwdriver after one more six-part series and three 2022 specials." https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-58682472 | The following 2 users would like to thank Medea Fleecestealer for this useful post: | |

I dislike him personally but some like him. Seems to be yet another nod to the 'celebrity' guest star trend rather than an actor who's playing a role.
The plot is very bitty, and they've introduced yet another cutesy alien life-form.
Watching it because I've seen every episode ever been made but definitely not loving this incarnation of The Doctor.

I do like Jodie though.

Thought the 6 episode arc was pretty good, far better than the previous series.
Also enjoyed the Xmas special, some funny moments!

Jodie Whittaker battles with Sea Devils in penultimate Doctor Who episode tonight BBC1.
"penultimate" means there will be a BBC centenary special, airing in late 2022.
