I've tried to do as much research as possible for the various Swiss provider plans (the big 3), however it seems like there's other options as well (something like togglemobile) that I only uncover through various phone posts. What I'm trying to find is a mobile plan for my company phone that allows essentially unlimited roaming/data throughout the world, perhaps Asia is not as important but north america + all of europe (think places like Belarus, Romania, Hungary etc on top of standard EU countries) should be covered.

I see places like Swisscom offer something like 200mb/200min/200sms in their most expensive plan for EU, however I'm guessing that any travel to North America or outside of the EU zone would incur quite a lot of costs.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it, if not no worries. Oh, and purchasing a SIM in each country doesn't really apply as its not realistic to update everyone that needs to call me with a new number each time I travel somewhere (Hurry up Google Voice!)

Swisscom is the only provider that offers affordable data roaming, even for the US and Japan. Voice calling is an entirely different issue, however - that's still insanely expensive. I bought a T-Mobile prepaid SIM in the US that includes unlimited internet, texting and calling within the US. I used Skype to place calls to Switzerland. Cost me 3$ per day
