My iPad2 16GB (2.5 years old) battery has failed. Is there a shop somewhere that can replace the battery and approximately how much will it cost please? I live near Locarno. Thanks for your advice.

Try googling ipad repair locarno or something like that in italian.

But with the ipad 2 I don't think it's worth it to get it repaired. Just put it on Ricardo starting from 1 CHF. There are a lot of people bidding on broken apple stuff I discovered. Sold an iPad 2 with smashed display for 200 CHF a year ago.

And buy yourself another unit at the apple store. The iPad Air is really nice.

Apple replace the battery for $99 (us site), where as a new air is 5 times that price!
