New Cablecom channels

New channels on cablecom.

Nothing new for English TV channels, but the box said there were three new TV channels.

BUT.....

BBC Radio 1
BBC Radio 2
BBC Radio 3
BBC Radio 4 FM
BBC 1Xtra
BBC Asian Network
BBC World Service (which I think CC already had).
and
VOA is back

Re: New Cablecom channels

Yea, I got all excited at seeing there's the history, and national geographic (or similar) channel..... until I saw "Deutschsprachig" on their website.... so never mind. I'm not about to listen to David Attenborough narrate a docu regarding the mating of wildebeests in a bavarian german accent.... freaky.

Re: New Cablecom channels

Some of the channels are dual language - National Geo is but I think History isn't. Also they've taken English Eurosport 2 off and replaced it with German Eurosport 2.

CC already had World Service but only on analogue.

golly gosh how I miss radio one in a morning and Scot in the afternoon so funny, We have Bluewin and can get most of the English Channels although the connection keeps going down. Although small price to day to see the finals of Masterchef

Cablecom: New digital channels

If you watch the analouge "Infochannel", you hear, that they will close it down by tomorrow. The bandwidth will be uses for new channels.

They don't say what channel it will be, but they talk about HD and SD channels.

Lets wait and see what it will be...

as long as Channel 4 is still testing I doubt they'll actually introduce that channel. But once they do, I hope BW-TV does too, together with ITV HD, More 4 and E4.

The freesat version of Channel 4 is only test-broadcasting (at least it still was when I checked a couple of days ago). It's not broadcasting as "Channel 4" but under a test-code. They'll probably go live very soon, though.

The other "4" programs "E4" and "More 4" can already be received on their designated transponders.

Re: New Cablecom channels

Testing?

I runs smooth on Freesat boxes.

BTW: The channel is NOT here yet. Cablecom just added the channel to the Web EPG. But I assume it will arrived soon.
