Orange to offer 200.- off the Galaxy S5?

Cost nothing to register apparently:

Re: Orange to offer 200.- off the Galaxy S5?

Two things to note here:

1) This requires you to get a subscription to Orange

2) With the cheapest contract I could find (15 CHF/mo), the phone costs 749 CHF. After rebate it comes out to 549 CHF. It is possible to get the phone for 599 CHF without any contract from a different seller.

Better than buying it without a discount...

Plus in case you look for a new abo it can be a good deal. I finish my contract in july with orange. i hope the discount will be valid until there. They don't say anything about this?

I was looking at this just yesterday as I'm moving to ZH in a week and need a new phone.

a) Buying phone outright (599) + the contract I wanted (25 pm over 12 months) = 899

b) Getting the phone on orange (389 after 200 off) + the same contract (50 pm over 12 months) = 989

There may be a more expensive contract where the above equation comes out better off if you're buying the phone from orange, but even with this rebate, it's obviously better to buy phone outright. Not only is it cheaper, but you're free to choose carrier and contract length.

Ok! what have you got for 25m by orange? I'm soon due to re-sign my contract I'm paying 45 for 30min and internet. I'm sure i can get a better deal now. I've seen their other stuff at 20pm but no phone...

If anyone if looking for an "CHF off/rebate" offer, MobileZone is offering upto CHF150 off on mobile phones for new orange contracts CHF15/month and up (24 month contract). The offer is across all mobile phone devices as I understand it!

Note: The link does not mention that but the offer is available both online and in store!

I'm about to cancel my subscription with Orange and get a new one. If I stay on with them and extend the current subscription they'll actually increase the monthly fee, because f*uck logic , so I need to get a new one. These discounts might then come in handy

just a quick FYI, if you actually call orange and cancel your contract ie give them notice, then the orange retention team will call you back within 24 hours and try to "please your wishes" for you to stay with them, this team has the ability to give your rebates (money on your account) every month to match (if not exceed) your discounted contract. its worth a try ...

good luck in any case

Re: Orange to offer 200.- off the Galaxy S5?

Good to know. In my case, i don't see how they could ask me to pay more. For the same monthly price, i get more free minutes.
30 minutes with internet 1go before
60 minutes with internet 1go now
with the 200f discount they might offer it's not bad
But still thinking about doing what Bozza said. I'm just worry about all the phone set up, insurance, warranty, etc
