Perhaps contact your local cable / sat tv provider? Cablecom hold the monopoly in many regions, google their name.

Also, try an electrical store (TVs etc) they'll probably know a few leads

A monopoly implies exclusivity and market control.
If choice exists then there cannot be a monopoly

You can choose Cablecom or Bluewin TV in most parts of the country, available I think to about 80% of Switzerland in both cases

Call it a duopoly if you will, but a monopoly is simply not true.

They are based in Gibraltar. You'd need a satellite setup - they will just sell you a card valid for a year.....

Re: Arabic TV Channels in Baden Switzerland

As far as I know, cablecom doesn't offer arabic channels.

The easiest and cheapest way is to set up a satellite dish pointing to Hotbird. On Hotbird there's plenty of free to air arabic channels, like the major national channels of the GCC countries, Al Jazeera and so on.

Re: Arabic TV Channels in Baden Switzerland

Is it easy to set up a dish satelite in Switzerland or there are constraints associated with that ?

I noticed that most of the houses/flats have Cable TV ?
