I've been thinking about this....did you have a guide that you followed you could point me towards please? Everything worked fine afterwards?
I pretty much followed this guide. Dead easy with the Back up and Restore function. Took a couple of hours to restore all my applications etc.

Edit: everything was fine, except I had to reactivate the PS4 on my PSN account so my daughter could play my downloaded games on her acccount

Re: The Playstation 4 Current/Future Owners Thread

I like Assasins creed, but missed out on the last couple, the ones set in America and France. Syndicate is on another level to me, just walking around 19th century London is bizarre and amazing, that games like that exist in the world is incredible to me. It's Assasins Creed though, some of the missions and gameplay get a bit repetitive, but I really don't care, coz I can climb to the top of St. Pauls Cathedral and hook line among the towers of the Houses of Parliament.

And GTA V, wtf, maybe I'm getting old, but, you ever drive/fly around that world? it's an engineering masterpiece.

Masterpiece is damn right.

Plus the sense of humour and general dialogue scripting is spot on, up there with the greatest.

Re: The Playstation 4 Current/Future Owners Thread

Started playing Fallout 4 last night. It is going to be a huge time sink! I spent about 4 or 5 hours just messing about in the initial two villages / towns. The new crafting options are almost an entire game on their own it seems!

Dammit man! I have a whole bunch of games to finish and now I'm sooo tempted to get Fallout 4, I'll probably never finish them. Is it really that good?

Re: The Playstation 4 Current/Future Owners Thread

My advice Paddy:

Drop everything else. I myself dropped Witcher 3 DLC, which was pretty fantastic, but I don't regret it for 1 second.

Only issue is, in my old age, I'm finding it hard to adapt from Witcher 3 controls (i.e. when you are looting, press O to exit loot screen), so I keep looking at my Pip-Boy instead by mistake, as looting is live, and you just need to look away from corpse/container to exit the loot dialogue...I'm probably 15 hours in, but it still gets me almost every time!

Bloody hell, you're not making it any easier are you? I'm getting stuck into MGSV at the moment and really enjoying it, and I haven't even started AC Syndicate yet. 1st world problems eh?

Re: The Playstation 4 Current/Future Owners Thread

My two teenage boys are revolting because we do not have Fallout 4 yet. Their friends all say it is great. This weekend for sure if we can find it. Hope they enjoy watching dad* play!

(full disclaimer: We still have X360, so I have to quickly decide whether to keep funding Microsoft or jump to PS4).

*Like others - I'm still way behind on a number of series, so won't really be psychologically abusing my children

PS4 is better in terms off games and hardware, so will have more longevity.

Meh. I got a basically free PS4 from a friend, and I wish I had an Xbox One instead to be honest. I really want the Rare collection, and Halo, and everything else I like is multiplatform. I miss the Xbox Interface.

Halo Collection is OK, but Halo 5 is an overhyped turd. Rare collection is good for nostalgia, but that's all it is, and if you want true nostalgia I recommend buying some old consoles and doing it properly.

PS4 has a better overall catalogue, more graphical power, and developers seem to be backing it more. The Xbox One has been a step behind since launch, and it will only get worse as sales decrease.

Get the X1. Microsoft is behind and this is why they are trying SO HARD. Updates and improvements are constant. The new interface is awesome, the ability to watch tv which we actually use, is pretty amazing. btw, fallout rocks, i received a divorce threat.

As a PS4 owner I have to say this is true. Now they have the right people in charge at Xbox.

Get a PS4 for Rocket League though

Re: The Playstation 4 Current/Future Owners Thread

The one thing MS can't do, is make their inferior hardware better (short of releasing an Xbone 2.0, which would be very messy games wise), so, given that, the PS4 has to be the better option.

Re: The Playstation 4 Current/Future Owners Thread

Uncharted: Nathan Drake collection; 25chf if you have a USA PSN account http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/unch...4-with-2321159

Don't forget to use Hot Deals UK, almost all of the console deals ship to CH and you don't pay UK VAT. Plus, the US deals are insane.

Just bought Uncharted on my US account and downloading now...
