Question about Swisscom TV 2.0 plus

Possibly a dumb question from one who is technologically challenged but here goes: I just upgraded my package with Swisscom for additional features, and the new box they gave me only takes HDMI cables, whereas my previous one (two years old) could take a Scart cable. My TV (7 years old, bought in Germany) uses a Scart, and has no input for HDMI. Is a new TV my only solution (other than cancelling the package)? Is there some kind of converter plug? I would like a new TV but don't want to be rushed into buying one, as I'd like to wait for sales!!

Thanks for any wisdom.

I wouldn't bother with a converter to be honest. It would probably cost as much as what replacing your old tv would (assuming its a small " size and non-HD since just scart input .

Only solution is to replace your TV.

Thanks for your response. Yes in the end that's what I did - found Conforama was having a great sale on TVs! Wish I'd done it sooner as it's so much better than my old one
