Swisscom TV online

.. Website not working again! I just get a blank blue screen. This happens way too often. Does anyone else have this issue?

Re: Swisscom TV online

Nope. Working fine here.
Here's a few things to try (before doing the following, check if you have the same issue with any other sites - and also try a different web browser if possible (Chrome, Firefox, Safari are just a few examples)).

1) Turn off your router for 30 seconds and turn back on.

2a) If using MS Windows, open command prompt as administrator and type msconfig /flushdns
2b) If using Mac OS X, open terminal and type dscacheutil -flushdns and enter your password if requested. The password won't appear, even as asterisks, so don't worry if you don't see any characters appearing.

3) Reset your browser's cache - search google for guides for individual browsers.

4) If all else fails, again turn off your router, but leave it off for 30 minutes. This 30 minutes will reset your connection with your ISP, clearing any connectivity issues and leaving it fresh when you turn the router back on.

Re: Swisscom TV online

Hello,

Anybody has tried Swisscom TV 2.0 App on a Windows 8 based Smartphone?

I just installed it and I don't get a single channel.

I'm not a Swisscom TV subscriber but based on this page I should be able to get 74 channels for free as a non-Swisscom customer:

As a Swisscom subscriber, you have access to the following functions, depending on your particular subscription.

Without logging in, Swisscom TV air also offers non-Swisscom customer free Live TV on more than 74 channels.

All I see are HD channels which require paid subscription.

I'm lost

Re: Swisscom TV online

You need to have a Silverlight plug-in in order for it to work.
Not sure if mobile devices support Silverlight, even on a Windows platform.

The Swisscom TV app. on my iPad is 4.2.1 and works fine - apart from when it crashes.

Re: Swisscom TV online

Swisscom TV Air has ditched Silverlight and switched to HTML5.

It includes replay and recordings even if you're not a Swisscom customer.
