TV Program Guide

What is the most comprehensive TV Program guide for Switzerland, particularly SwissCom TV. The on screen guides are not that user friendly to scroll through. I notice some newspapers print guides. Is there a published Weekly or Monthly guide that shows ALL programs?

I use the app "TV Guide" which is pretty cool and you can chose your favourites etc. Maybe its what you're looking for?

Android at least. I assume others. Although as you have to specify a country I'm not sure it will cover everything in CH.

Doesn't Swisscom TV include an EPG?

Re: TV Program Guide

Thanks. I'll give the app a try.

The EPGs take ages to scroll through. I think it would be quicker to scan on paper. An Excel or even a text file would be a great format for me.

SwissCom TV 2.0 allows you to playback programs up to 7 days until after it aired. I normally don't watch a lot of TV, as there is almost nothing I'm interested in when I turn it on. But this might help me find more interesting things to watch.

Re: TV Program Guide

tvtv.ch covers many of the Swiss, German, French and Austrian channels available here. It also covers Sky channels, and several news and sports channels. It doesn't cover BBC 1-4 or the ITV group though.

Looks like a fairly easy format, but it does not seem to scroll back to a past date, which is not useful for time-shifting.

Yes - it only allows you to look ahead 7 days, not back. I do like that you can search by themes, such as movies or sports.

If it's the one with the red heart on black background icon, I also use that - however I have that set for UK channels, that I watch here.

It is part of "YoTV", which is what I use for all channels here.

Under settings, you can select country and TV channel provider, and it should list all channels in the same order in which they appear on your TV.

By selecting any program, will reveal a full page of additional and related info (normally) - but in the language of that channel.

Another option, when a weeks backtracking is required, is the Guide from Zattoo. Program details can be a bit sketchy sometimes, though.
