Re: Calls to USA from cell phone? Which TV provider to get more U.S. channels?
We went with Swisscom, which had a few options for making calls to the U.S. included in the package, one was unlimited and the other offered 2 hours/month.
If you want U.S. television and access to U.S. Netflix, you can go for a VPN subscription, which gives you access to a U.S. IP connection.
With Skype, if your kids know how to use, the calls are free between skype accounts. If you want to call the landline at home, you can get Skype minutes and place calls from Skype, using your phone, tablet, or PC. You can also get a Skype phone number using your family's local area code. With this, your family can call on your Skype line with no long distance charge. You pay a monthly subscription for this and can hold or cancel it anytime.
