New CoopMobile Flat for 29.90

http://www.coopmobile.ch/en/abo/swiss-flat/

Not quite sure how slow the reduced speed after the first 1GB is.

Re: New CoopMobile Flat for 29.90

I used to be on Lebara who had deal where you got 1gb of 4g internet followed by unlimited at reduced speed.. It was on Sunrise network ..

The thing is, after 1gb, it never actually slowed down at all .. Og course I never complained..

Just saying, might be same, might be worth a try.

orange. they're not very transparent about the speed though. it's better than the migros budget too.

Re: New CoopMobile Flat for 29.90

Only issue is coverage with orange has in my experience been patchier than Swisscom's. Also I use the MobileID function a hell of a lot for online banking etc, so I really need to wait until Swisscom roll that out to Salt customers (its planned soon).

Re: New CoopMobile Flat for 29.90

I find it really tempting!
I joined m-budget one few months ago after using lycamobile prepay.
I'll wait 1-2 months and see if m-budget adjust their pricing hihihi...
If not, hello Coop Mobile!

this is good news for people who are looking to get a good sim only offer, unfortunately it is bad news for those who were looking at getting a subsidised phone with the sim as Coop mobile no longer does that ie you can't get the 0CHF phone for 24 month contract, you will have to pay for the phone on monthly basses instead!

well that happens anyway with the abo, it's just hidden in the abo monthly fee.
for a budget provider it makes sense to separate the various costs imho.

Re: New CoopMobile Flat for 29.90

Quite a good offer.

If you check the section "International: From Switzerland to abroad", it states that calls to "Neighboring countries" ... "cost CHF 0.30 / min (the same as calls within Switzerland)"

Hrks?! (OK, I guess that's just wrong, but it's quite a bummer!)

Compared to das-abo.ch, the user would have to know how much he calls to countries which are included in das-abo.ch, and wheather it's worth to pay CHF 9.10/month to have those included.

Apart from that I wonder if this offer allows call diverts, a question that usually remains unanswered unless I test it myself.

Re: New CoopMobile Flat for 29.90

Hmm, I just read something a little nasty... https://www.handy-abovergleich.ch/ab...le-swiss-flat/

"Reduktion der Geschwindigkeit Ab 1 GB auf 58 Kbit/s "

So when you go over the 1GB, net speed is reduced to a paltry 58kb/s, which is barely even usable. It's still a good price, but that is definitely something to be aware of.

UPC Cablecom is better with 2GB limit and then 128kb/s https://www.handy-abovergleich.ch/ab...nlimited-2000/

Re: New CoopMobile Flat for 29.90

That's pretty bad, similar offers reduce it to 128kbps I think.
