Adapter for a British plug

Hello everyone,
Do you know where I can buy an adapter plug that would fit a British plug. I checked the big supermarkets but they only sell European to Swiss ones. And I'm looking for UK to Swiss or even UK to standard European.

And recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Re: Adapter for a British plug

Any of the Electronics shops like Media Markt/Interdiscount, etc. will have a variety of types, some of which can be regarded as pretty much globally universal. DIY shops too.

I would also check a XXL Interdiscount or MediaMarkt. I am pretty sure I have seen them but I can't remember in which one.

Thank you all for your responses. I managed to get one in Interdiscount. Not too happy about the price though

Re: Adapter for a British plug

@doropfiz
Ok..maybe I overreacted but the one I really wanted - a multifunctional world adapter was 90 CHF. Instead I chose a simple one UK to Switzerland for 17 CHF.

Yes, I've always found retail prices for these things to be shocking, no matter where you buy them.

We've amassed fair collection of congress-freebies over the years, and every time I see the same model in an airport shop I'm astonished at how much they go for.

Like any product or service, the cost is what the market will bear & bears no relationship with the cost of producing the item.

I have known Hotels in ZH rent a network cable for 15 CHF a night.

Re: Adapter for a British plug

A bit late for the OP, but perhaps this will help someone else? Adapters are available on Amazon for about CHF5- and cheaper still on eBay.

Re: Adapter for a British plug

Another option for those with time, you can get those adapters from aliexpress for a fraction of the price in Switzerland, they are a 2 in one universal adapters for the Swiss sockets, I ordered some of those a while ago, arrived in about 3 weeks, were all fully working and tax (under 68CHF) and shipping free.

Aliexpress UK - Swiss Adapter for a single item. For 2.99USD

Aliexpress UK - Swiss Adapter for a lot of 5 items. For 11.20USD

There is also a 3 way universal adapter for a lot of 5. For 10.30USD

NOTE: there is a colour option of white or black.
