It's been gone through on another thread somewhere and the upshot is, only if you can find a proxy that will work. I did post a link to a site that had local BBC and private club stations that somehow got round this. Just search for footy and radio and I'm sure you'll find it

Try http://bbcradio.mobi It has a whole list of all bbc radio channels, including sports, and news. All the bbc radio channels can be easily streamed over an internet connection, through pc or mobile/pda.
