Re: I search for Help in setting up Sky dish

Have a look on this link

I followed it when I set up my dish...very helpful.

The elevation is 32 and bearing was 152 degrees.

Cheers

if you're in or around Zurich, of course.....elevation is reduced as you go north

Re: I search for Help in setting up Sky dish

A fine and interesting description of setting up a satellite receiver and dish.

I found the site I was looking for with regards to setting up the dish.
The URL is http://www.satellite-calculations.com/

Please check your location and the altitude of your residence above sea level and please report in which boxes you'll find the approx. values of a compass bearing of 152 and elevation of 32.

Best wishes from The hague, The Neherlands
.
(I once, in the late 70's, could receive BBC and ITV terrestial tramnsmitters with a normal tv areal, depending on weather conditions!) as we are located just across the pond which devides my town and the Norfolk coast.)
