Buy new cable for my cablecom router

Hi, i almost broke the cable when a squeezed the router against the wall.

And I am looking for a short cable from China, specially from www.banggood.com where I've bought some gadgets.

Do you know exactly the name of the connectors? (wall and router)

I've seen these options, but the router connector is not the same. I think.

http://www.banggood.com/3m-RP-SMA-Co...l?rmmds=search

Thanks

Re: Buy new cable for my cablecom router

Wiclic, it's pretty much cablecom specific, you won't find it in china.

No it's not, it's just a bog standard coax cable with the relevant connectors on the end dependent on the router (typically an RF female socket needed) and whether it's a 2 or 3-hole socket.

UPC will give them out for free if you go into a shop and ask. Take the old cable to make it easier.

The cable is standard coax, but not the connector.

The connectors are standard too - well, mine is (Connect Box to 3-hole socket).

Re: Buy new cable for my cablecom router

See this datasheet that makes it all easy:
http://www.homewiring.ch/media/filem...12_2012_dt.pdf

In a 3-hole system only the middle connector has a back channel (that OP needs as he's talking about connecting his router to it) and it uses the non-standard Wiclic connector! The other two are standard, but you won't get data on them.

Re: Buy new cable for my cablecom router

Take the cable to a Cablecom shop, they will replace it for you.

Re: Buy new cable for my cablecom router

The one that goes in the cable modem/router is normally an F-Type connector. The other end is anyone's guess if you don't include a photo and/or dimensions.
