Spatial Awareness Deficiency Syndrome
Patient zero can usually be seen standing at the top of the escalator heading to security at the Basel airport.
His family members are in COOP, avec cart in the middle of the aisle, gazing at apparently nothing for several minutes.
Co-workers are putting their skis on directly off the gondola exit.

As the name implies a bouchon de chèvre is a small french cheese that looks just like a wine cork! http://www.fromages-france.com/froma...hon-de-chevre/ | The following 2 users would like to thank Anjela for this useful post: | |

I don't believe it's just these types of headsets.
Am constantly having to go-around / avoid collision with Smart-phone users, who seem delightedly unaware that there are real-life people around them.
Believe that we may need new pedestrian rules going-forward.

What do you do with them (is usually under security surveillance)

Likewise with people on the sidewalk who don't react to me approaching - I simply reciprocate their (non-)reaction to me approaching.

I don't use noise cancelling on a day to day basis, only on the plane. But I use earphones more or less all the time on the tram, in the train, on the lifts on my way to the day's first run (or down at the end of the day), when training and while walking. I remove them when I go in a shop or in any situation where social interraction can occur and can't be avoided without being rude.

But any-time that I mention one might be blocking the exit to the escalators due to something wonderful on the iPhone, I'm left with such a look imprinted on by back (once having overtaken them) that simply spoils the rest of my day
P.S. I love my iPhone, but don't use it as my partner

Well I agree with Sbrintz, There is many a time someone has bounced off me whilst focusing on their phone, looked back as if to say wtf, then scurried away when they see what just happened.
But despite the Bose Ear Warmers making the world a better place, I still seem to have the sort of appearance that makes random people want to talk to me even with them on.
Why just today, whilst stoically staring at the fondleslab with the ear warmers on, waiting for the tram, I was asked what my opinion was of the new shelter and the quality of the woodwork on the benches.
As for escalators and the Iphoneistas, an accidently placed shopping bag in the back of the knee works wonders.
