Swisscom wants to increase the current legal safty limit of 5V/meter to 20V/meter ==> four times more!

see chapter "Die Mobilfunkbranche will höhere Grenzwerte"

The people are the guinea pigs just like with the A bomb tests in USA

Between 1951 and 1958, around 100 nuclear weapons tests were conducted in the atmosphere at the Nevada Test Site (NTS). Located about 100 km northwest of Las Vegas, the NTS was larger than many small countries, offering some 3,500 square km of undisturbed land.

The average yield for the atmospheric tests was 8.6 kilotons (kt). The fallout from the tests contained radionuclides and gases which were transported thousands of miles away from the NTS by winds. As a result, people living in the United States during these years were exposed to varying levels of radiation.

Which is still 10x LESS than what you get from the AC wiring in your home!

Can you quote a source of this information? AC wiring generate low frequency radiation fields, but mobile Mobile/Cell phones (GSM, UMTS, LTE etc.) generate high frequency radiation fields.

High-frequency alternating fields penetrate walls and cannot be switched off. They always have a transmitter that generates them.

High-frequency radiation fields created by cellular and cordless phones, cellular phone towers, Wi-Fi, and microwaves are the most damaging. But low frequency electrosmog can also be harmful when we are exposed to it consistently.

How about we don't take sites like Swissharmony with their earth rays and water veins who try to put fear into dumb people so they can sell them their overpriced placebo's along in this discussion and you come up with something less loony.

Seriously.

Sorry, I did not intend to promote any of the products of this company. I am not linked to this company in any way or do I profit from the sale of their products. I just came across an article of this site by a google search regarding this topic.

I just think that there is enough electromagnetic radiation in the world. Do we really need to watch real time HD movies on our mobile phones in the bus/tram on our daily way to work ? Is it worth the risk?

Re: Swisscom 5G is coming. Can YOUR phone do it?

I'm surprised that Dandy isn't sitting in a deep dark hole somewhere. I mean, all the electromagnetic radiation of even high frequency than wifi, 4g or 5g, absolutely everywhere. 380-740nm (right up there in the Terahertz band!).

It's called "visible light".

Sunrise asked me to take part in their 5g trial, and set up the router today. I've still got my fixed line DSL router, so I've done some comparisons.

Download:
DSL 180MBit/s, 5G 220MBit/s
Upload
DSL 50MBit/s, 5G 30MBit/s
Response time
DSL 7ms, 5G 15ms

The 5G router runs quite warm, and is loud enough to be slightly bothersome.

On the plus side, you can turn it off, and the Chinese, not just the NSA, are backing up your data.
