Salt 4g or Swisscom for home internet?

Hi all,

I am going to choose an internet service at home for my final year studying.

After my research, there are two option that I can use for home internet

1. Salt 4g unlimited surfing card + huawei e5770 router (12-month)

2. Swisscom internet box S package (12-month)

What I need are stability and reasonable speed ( 3-5MB/s download will be fine, not bit/s) and gaming as well

Salt seems good cuz I can take the router anywhere and share network and the router has a LAN port. But I live in Bluche, the middle of the mountain, very concern the 4g coverage, even the salt website shows my place is under the coverage

Please give me some suggestions thank you!

Why not salt fibre? 40-50chf per month, comes with TV and you have a 10Gig link

Re: Salt 4g or Swisscom for home internet?

The third option is Sunrise 4G pocket wifi + mobile internet unlimited, it is more expensive than Salt but the 4g coverage seems better than Salt?

Also is it possible to tie 12-month contract rather than 24-month

For these 4G devices, good signal is most important. Before taking any contract I would recommend taking a prepaid sim and do speedtest/ping etc on your mobile during peak time.

So I should buy a sim card both Salt and Sunrise then use the one day unlimited surfing to test?? Is it the same speed if I join the contract ?
