SIM suggestion: what's the best for me?

Hi everyone,
I have to buy a sim card, but I'm not sure which one suits me best.
Due to my job, I stay in Switzerland for 4 days per month approximately and sometimes I don't even return.
I'm looking for a cheap prepaid sim card where I can activate data packages when needed.
For example: 1gb/month for those 4 days, but if I skip a month I don't want to pay for nothing.
I'm reading a lot of comments about Lyca, Coop, Yallo, Talk Talk.
Can you help me please?

Thanks!

Coop mobile (now on Swisscom) offer data packages that never expire either as pre-paid or cheap monthly plan. Call prices are pretty high though.

Could you not get a domestic phone contract in the country that you mostly reside in that includes Switzerland? I think the UK phone companies for example include Switzerland in the EU so roaming and data are at no extra cost outside of your plan or pay as you go tariff.

Surely this is better than 2 phones and a lucky guess on which one your pals should ring you up on

Subject to fair use policy. I had to stop using my UK SIM over here.

Agree with Peaky's suggestion but otherwise Sunrise might be an option.

They have a prepaid unlimited SIM, 2.50CHF/day that you use it, unlimited data, calls, texts within Switzerland. If there are times when you're staying in Switzerland for longer (say a month or longer) you can easily switch to the 30 days or 90 days with a discount.

A cheaper option might be their Prepaid Airbag. It's 1.20CHF/day-of-use for data, (20mb at 4G high speed and slower thereafter) or if staying longer, add a data pack option, 1GB 15CHF, 3GB for 30CHF which lasts a month, instead of the 1.20/day.

You can switch between the prepaid unlimited option and prepaid airbag via SMS or online.
