Yallo dropped calls

My wife and I have switched to Yallo from Salt, and the deal is pretty good (50% discount forever, which seems to be the deal that you can get no matter what).

However...
1) When we call to a foreign number, they see random caller IDs. This is not too bad, but quite bad. I would rather prefer the "private number".
2) Plenty of dropped calls. Even when we call each other (yallo to yallo). It's so annoying that we are seriously considering going back to Salt.

Is the second problem common? I am asking because we also changed our phones at the same time, and I would like to make sure that the problem is yallo.
Anyone with the same experience?

I'm with Yallo for over a year now...
1 -> Yes, for me it's a mix of random numbers and private callers - nothing can be done about that I was told.

2-> I didn't hear of this problems (and I know at least 5 other people who are on yallo)

Just to be a bit more clear: it's not "dropped calls". Just one of the two people on the line stops hearing the other one (the other way typically works). We have to hangup, call again, and then it works (for a bit).

Nope, didn't notice quality problems... I had a couple of times delay when calling abroad, but that was just couple of times and never within CH.

Re: Yallo dropped calls

On Yallo, I take it they are still operational? I am back in Basel, visiting, and wanted to use my old phone with Yallo prepaid SIM but the phone died so I need to get to a Yallo outlet to sort out the SIM thing, probably just getting it updated for my smartphone.

Does anyone know if Yallo still has a shop in Basel? Used to be over in Kleinbasel but I only see Mobile Zone there now. And Sunrise I recall is competition.

Thanks knowledgeable folks!

Re: Yallo dropped calls

That’s great, I’ll head there tomorrow and hope they can sort out my prepaid/SIM/phone...whatever! Cheers.

Re: Yallo dropped calls

The Post office should focus on delivering mail. The actually are quite good at that.

But they are crap at trying to deliver a phone service. And they know nothing about customer service.
