I am in Thun, BERN, I was looking for the WII before new year and got dissapointed as the guys in Interdiscount told me that they had not seen it for a longggg time in the region.
Anyone have an idea where I could get one just after the new year?
Though I am living in the german part, if i could get one in French like in Fribourg is still fine for me.

If you get it in the French part, don't forget to ask for a OUII.

Anyway, there were reports of quite a few left in Media Markts in the ZH area around launch time and MM always seem to get in the most stock of any of the electronics chains so your nearest MM store is a good bet.

I got one on Friday from a little PC store in Oerlikon - Zurich, I was told elsewhere that there wouldn't be any in CH until at leat the 11th Jan, I phoned around the Media Markts and asked in other main shops and I was told the same by everyone

As of yesterday, Interdiscount XXL (Egerkingen) had a few on their shelves.

Egerkingen is about 35 KM south of Basel. Near Olten.

I saw there sales in interdiscount for wii.. is 399 chf is consider cheap?
Its the software is in english? Anywhere i can get cheaper that this price?

Wii's never been any other price here.
You can switch the console to English and many games will be in English. Search the site for "english games" or "english software" and you should find it.

They had several at FNAC in Geneva centre last weekend, and dozens of boxes of Wii Fit. Must of had a shipment recently. So I guess if you are willing to drive all the way over here...

check the date of original posting. There are almost no console shortages here.
