Amazon Prime Premier League EPL

Hi

Amazon are showing a lot of of English Premier league games in December through their Prime video portal. Anyone know if we can watch the games here in CH? Would we need a .co.uk Prime Account, rather than a .de for example?

They have free cancellation within 30 days, so could be worth signing up.

Regards

Also very interested to hear people's ideas on this?

Would a VPN to the UK, and an amazon.co.uk prime sub work?

Yes, I think so. I won't know for sure until later, but I've just logged into Amazon UK via UK VPN and can watch highlights of last night's games, plus I have a list of tonight's matches available to see. When I tried without the VPN I didn't have these options.

Would be interested to know - Arsenal play tomorrow night, so I think I have time to get things sorted tomorrow if it definitely works!

I'll let you know, though tonight is a better prospect even if you're an Arsenal fan (or especially if you're an Arsenal fan) -- it's Man Utd-Spurs and Liverpool-Everton.

As it happens, I watched using my sky.ch subscription (19.90 a month) but I did log onto VPN and Amazon at half time just to check, and yes, I can confirm that this works. I use Nord VPN but I presume others will do the job.

Thanks very much - I will consider it then.

What quality are the games in? 1080p? 4k?

Oh and who is commentating...please not Andy Townsend!

Quality is excellent. My fire stick is only regular so not been able to check 4k

There is even a feature to turn the commentary off and just have the crowd noise.

Also can see highlight within the game.

Re: Amazon Prime Premier League EPL

Well, I am delighted that I didn't fork out anything to watch that dross. An internet stream in VGA resolution would still be higher quality than our football.

Oh, and I still had to listen to Andy Townsend on the stream I found

An unsatisfying evening all round!

Re: Amazon Prime Premier League EPL

A VPN should solve the issue.

Separately - this probably makes sense if you already have a Prime membership. (I mean watching the EPL in general, not necessarily Arsenal, on current form)

EPLsite.com could be worth a look, too.

Not sure if it costs extra to watch the EPL on Prime, beyond the standard Prime charge?
