how does the surf and talk work? do you get a different phone number with the second device?

is this then essentially a 2 for 1 deal?

I have it.
The restriction is that you can't use the second one as a hotspot but I'm using it in my laptop as it has its own sim slot.

as only one phone can receive calls, it is not a 2-for-1 offer as I first imagined. it's also not so useful for me as i thought of using the second either as a simcard for child's phone or for a mobile hotspot.

55CHF/month for 2 x sim (one full service and one data only) and an extra 300CHF off. if i remember it all correctly!

SALT had a great deal for existing customers that has popped up a few times. A sim based wifi module which you can travel with. But equally good for home use. The catch I ten things can connect to it at once (hardware limitation in the little Huawei thing they give you. But theoretically you could buy your own Sim based router for bigger range and connectivity

I assume when it's not a special deal that it's available for about 30 a month. Almost free for unlimited wifi. It doesn't throttle speeds after an artificial limit
