wilmaa free tv

hello! does anybody have experience with wilmaa tv, which seems to be a tv package of many channels (not premium stuff but the sort of stuff you get in a hotel) that is free to the user if you dont mind watching more adverts. also i wonder if it's called after fred flinstone's wife.

I don't. But zattoo.ch also delivers tv for free. They give you a hard time these days to actually get to the free version but I found it for you. Attention, they still try to get you onto pay-version via this link but at least on this page you are able to click on the free version and proceed.

I Use it from time to time, it's good when you don't mind a few minutes of commercials before you can watch your preferred channel

Most welcome.
I pay 95.00 franks a year, got no other tv source. May be a bit much since I stopped being a tv-addict but I still like it as I never watch real-time, "tape" it all (I think I could tape about 500 films/reports what ever), therefore skip all the advertising they sneak in by not cutting the programs properly (that's a new stunt ) and of course the ones some programs place in the middle of what ever you're watching.

Loads of channels. I do still watch arte quite regularly. And end of last year I got one of this HDMI gadgets, so when I'm in the mood I watch on the big teli (used to have a tiny computer with the TV but became too much hassle when I lost interest in TV).

I just saw I got this since 2003 (it was cheaper then ) so I'm living proof that it's actually quite good for any type of client - a binge watcher who has the tv on like other people the radio (past) or someone who only picks exactly what they want to know about (present).

TMI? Sorry.
(Should I ask zatoo for payment for this post??)

Re: wilmaa free tv

i hadnt heard of arte til now, it looks totally great! i've started to read things like architecture magazines and engineering magazines on my phone coz i cant handle reading news anymore (this is before the virus, i meant just the normal world-in-flames news). so maybe i'll have arte on like you said how people have on the radio, have it on like a nice lamp!

i was living in a hotel for 6 months recently and i had a massive tv in my room and it was the first time i watched tv for years and years probably ever since i got an online football subscription, and it was great! i just sat on the bed flicking through the channels and by the time you've gone through them all, the programmes have all changed. i really liked the cruise-ship holiday channel (probably that one's been cancelled). and there was a great programme where this fisherman went round the world trying to catch fish that were so deadly they'd become part of local folklore (he often seemed to be after one type of 'killer catfish' or another) and though he never caught anything even remotely like the locals had described it, mostly just normal catfish, the show never stopped with the dramatic music. and if he caught anything bigger than say my hand, him reeling it in was done in slow motion.

also i swear if i stayed in that hotel just one more day i would have bought the Instant Pot pressure cooker. and also that clothes dryer that blows wind on your clothes from below!

On the other hand, had you bought that pressure cooker, you could have joined in on the respective thread here on EF and give very professional advice.

As to arte, it is addictive. When I do settle down and watch something on a rainy Sunday I don't stop, 'cause every program following is interesting, through all subjects, news, reports. And good films too.
The only channel I don't fall asleep on the sofa after 10 minutes.

Re: wilmaa free tv

Hi,

I have been using the Zattoo for a long time. I have the premium subscription which provides me the ability to record tv programmes. I also like that it works on multiple platforms. It is only 10 chf per month.

I am very pleased with it.

Stay safe
Martin
