Ordered a SIM card, not delivered for a month, still being charged monthly fee. help

Ok, so I have a weird problem, if anyone here can help me that would be great.


So, about a month ago (03/04), I ordered a new postpaid line from coop mobile, order was smooth and I got an email stating that they sent the SIM card by swisspost. However, until today, I have not yet received any notice from them. Maybe it was covid19, so I gave them a week or two. 1 week passed, 2 weeks passed, a month passed, and still nothing.

And just today, I was charged a bill for a monthly fee (and activation fee!) for the last month which I have not yet received any service!

These are the things that I have done:
contacted swisspost: swisspost have no idea where the sim card package is in their system
contacted coop mobile: they gave me a tracking number, but it seems to be like the tracking is not updated at all and the status is at "delivered to sorting and distribution" on 08/04. Nothing after that.
contacted swisspost again, gave them the tracking number, they say they will contact me, if they found it, nope. nothing.


I don't know what to do now. anyone? Can I contact coop mobile again and would they cancel the line and stop the payment since I have reason that I did not receive any service from them?

Contact Coop and tell them the status of the package.

Call Coop and tell them package/envelop never arrived and status shows it as not having been delivered and that you called the post and that they confirmed to have no clue where the package/envelop is, meaning it got lost at the post. Ask them to send a new sim and change the contract dates so it complies to the new sim and tell them to cancel the current billing.

Next time be more pro-active

That was my gut feeling when I saw that the tracking didn't update for a long time. Maybe it was covid that was delaying the package, I could not be sure.



I will contact them again to see if the matter is resolved
