Looking for USB switch

I'm driving myself crazy searching the internet for something I thought would be very common.

I have a scanner (ScanSnap 1300i) which has a USB Printer cable (B to A). Despite all the advice from the manufacturer I cannot get it to work with two Macs on a small airport network.

So I was hoping that if I could find a selectable hub with two ports, I could get this to work.

I've found some stuff on Amazon that either costs a fortune or won't ship to Switzerland. Toppreise.ch doesn't get any hits on any of my searches (in English)

Anyone have an idea where I could source something like this. Or perhaps I'm not looking for the right thing.

Something like this?

https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

from the site:
The US224 is a 2-port system that gives 2 computers shared access to up to 4 USB devices - a keyboard, a mouse and up to 2 peripherals.

Re: Looking for USB switch

Ah, now I get you don't want USB hub

So you can share scanner on the network, I do it at home (and basically any configured computer can use it) but... ya, this is a USB scanner (no network) so it might be a bit more complicated. I basically use a Raspberry Pi with linux and saned daemon do do this (mine is also USB only) - so basically Raspberry Pi acts as a kind of gateway.

However, if you're not technically savvy (and don't want to pay someone to make this work) just but a scanner with network / WIFI (plenty of all in one devices have it) - then it should work out of the box with original software.
