| | Swiss phonenumber after leaving Switzerland
I wonder if I can keep my Swiss phonenumber after deregistering from Switzerland. I do not have a subscription, it is a reload card from coop.

It may become difficult to charge the card though (not sure if you can charge/pay via a non-swiss credit card)

On a monthly plan you need to notify them of change of address, and they might well terminate your contract if you don't have a Swiss address.
But then what could possibly happen if you don't notify them? They hardly send anything by post any more anyway?

Payment could be the problem. Does any phone company accept credit cards for payment. Wingo doesn’t.

How easy this is will depend on your particular bank, and on your nationality / country of residence.

I'd say as long as you have friends in Switzerland, you can keep that phone number.
As you say, it's a reload card from Coop. AfaIk one has to buy a voucher card at Coop, then put the according voucher code in .... don't know the details .....
So fact is: Anybody can buy these cards and send them to you by mail. Or - more likely - just tell you the code over the phone (unless you're already on zero )
Question is: Why would you want to? Switzerland is not known for cheap phone-rates. | This user would like to thank curley for this useful post: | |

You can use a foreign cc to pay without problem. At least with Swisscom. Our boys had PAYG and we'd top up with either a UK or S. African credit card.
As long as you don't tell them you've moved it won't be a problem either.

I have a UK credit card registered with Salt (formerly CoopMobile) without problem.

I have an Italian phone number for EU Internet and not only is it no problem, I even get a better deal as I'm not resident in the EU!
A friend in LA also has an Italian phone number, for decades.
