I felt like that about my plasma screen. Great quality pic and kept it until last year. Still not sure if I have upgraded... I should have gone for the top of the line OLED. ;-)
You know that the only OLED manufacturer is LG? All other companies buy the panels from them and put on their processors. Generally, looks like the LG EVO line is the best tweak right now. We're with the "old" 2020 C class after having upgraded from a Panasonic Plasma 3D which I think we lost the 3d glasses probably a decade ago and never bothered to get new ones as for us 3d was more of a gimmick, but I get it if people like it. Btw, is there even content being made or now it's all about whatever was produced a decade ago?

Re: Home Theatre System

Yes, I was drooling over an LG top of the line OLED at Costco last year when one of the LG reps told me. I had just bought another Samsung when I had a problem with the on/off switch on my Samsung plasma. I will consider switching to LG when Sonos irons out the bugs on the Arc soundbar.

Almost all new movies still have 3D releases. We are a dying but fiercely committed group.... :-).
Btw, I know LG has a monopoly on the panels but TV makers still work their magic through the software and hardware interface....case in point Sony which takes the screen from LG and then works their magic and the TV still outshines the LG with the better panel (LG retains the best panels for their own line-up). Very interesting.
