Phone them in office hours and they’ll send you a new modem.
Thanks, spent a half an hour on phone waiting. This was a very old combined deal, the You bought the hot spot from the Post and the sim from Yallo. It was two separate contracts in those days.
If they keep you on hold it will time out after 3 hours and you get a text telling you all the information is on the website (which it isn't).
What I have found works:
- phone them dead on 9 in the morning to actually get through.
- phone them from a non Yallo number: I suspect they prioritise non-Yallo numbers to avoid calls from people wanting to cancel.
That all said, you should be able to put the card in any other device. When we cancelled Yallo Home they didn't even ask for the box back.
