Well since the OP does not tell us the topic, even after being asked, and does not speak any of the national languages, I’m willing to give Swisscom the benefit of the doubt.
Ironically, not knowing any of the national languages may help, a lot.

Last year, it took 4-5 months and a dozen calls to get a refund from cancellled flights from Swiss. I tried French before and it took 30-40 mins to talk to a human. One day I waited almost for 1 hour and just out of frustration made a new call and pushed the button for English.........5 min wait that day and the following calls until I got my money back. It seems the call centers, wherever they are around the world, have more English speakers than Swiss national languages.

Don't know if Swisscom offers support in English, the results may be a surprise.

Swisscom has generally been quite good about speaking in English, and positive in getting things resolved whenever there has been an issue. Sunrise is the telecom provider here that has the lowest level of customer service - absolutely abysmal and I would recommend anyone to avoid.

Re: Swisscom service is really bad, really not recommended for it

You can't really condemn a company based on one bad user experience. I've been with Swisscom for over 30 years (was PTT before privatization I think) and had very few problems. When I have had they have been resolved very quickly and efficiently. Just recently I had a problem with my router, and they replaced it same day free of charge.

Two weeks ago I saw we could have 10gb internet speed. Problem was according to Swisscom, the building could only handle 1gb speed. One week later they upgraded us again at no cost.

My only gripe, but this applies to all providers now, is with the VOIP phone system, if the power or internet goes, you cannot make a call to report the fault! Anyway, i guess that's where mobiles come in handy!

I just tried to make a phone call to ask a question, and then three transfers and hold on the line for more than half an hour, and nothing happens.
Really low efficiencies and bad services from Swisscom.
It used to be much easier to call the support but they seem to have made it really complicated.

I suggest you use their Community forum. They got answers for me very quickly.

Re: Swisscom service is really bad, really not recommended for it

I just called Swisscom, waited only a few min to be connected. Had a lovely girl on the phone and although I speak German without a problem, felt lazy and asked if English was okay. Lovely girl responded that she understands well but that her speaking isn't great to which I responded in German that we could continue in German. No no, says the girl, "I try in English!" and she perfectly helped me with my inquiry in a very efficient way and we both wished each other a nice evening and hung up with a smile.
Great customer service was my experience

A bit off topic but here is a scam attempt supposedly coming from Swisscom. Looks almost real.

Re: Swisscom service is really bad, really not recommended for it

Bad compared to what ?? I find Swisscom actually very good compared to the other ISPs available.

this past weekend I just replaced my tv box, router and access point/wlan booster and it all just worked with an even better signal coverage. 30 mins to connect it all and all 2 laptops, 3 ipads, 2 phones, 1 tv connected seamlessly from every room and toilet

FYI: i ordered the 3 devices on saturday online (tv box was free, router paid discounted price, ap discounted price) and they all arrived in 2 days.. tomorrow I'm dripping all the old equipment and cables at a swisscom shop- no fuss

no complaints here

Swisscom certainly outranks UPC and Sunrise etc etc

Re: Swisscom service is really bad, really not recommended for it

I was disappointed that Swisscom removed english-speaking news channels from their basic TV package during the subscription without notice. But otherwise their service to me has been okay.

Otherwise I agree with the shop front option - harder to put on hold.

If you have a smart TV you can use Zattoo and get all the UK channels. It's free but for better quality you need to take out a subscription.

Re: Swisscom service is really bad, really not recommended for it

Let see in 2022. Swisscom customer service will move to Kosovo from next spring 2022.

https://gettotext.com/swisscom-relie...f-switzerland/

Swisscom customers who have a problem and need telephone support will be connected to Kosovo from next spring – at least partially.
...
The telecommunications giant emphasizes that the “proven Swisscom quality” will be retained despite the relocation. The 45 call center employees in Kosovo would of course all speak German.

In addition, the company points out that it has a total of over 2,000 call center positions, around half of them internal, the other half external. “After the pilot, which will last until the end of 2022, Swisscom will decide whether and how things will continue with a call center location abroad.”

And what is your actual point, since you are talking about an event in the future???? Have you currently had any bad or good experience to date???
