Re: Local Cable Company ?

Go to this site: www.swisscable.ch and punch in your address. Should tell you if there is a service provider.

Re: Local Cable Company ?

I think Montreux is served by Cablecom via a reseller called Sitel.

You should get the normal Romandie digital channels.

Re: Local Cable Company ?

Hi

Is it possible that I can stop my Cable as I rarely watch it. I checked Swisscable and found its operated by Cablecom.

If yes, how do I proceed ? Do I contact Cablecom or the agency from whom I rented the flat ?

Regards

Go to the following Swissom page for the forms needed to quit your TV cable service.

http://www.swisscom.ch/res/tv/angebo...?languageId=en

Scroll down to: "Cancel your cable connection", there you'll find two links with the (pdf) documents you'll need (page is in English, documents, German).

Local Cable Company ?

The Swiss government have released cable companies supplying analogue signals, from providing foreign programmes. After 1st June 2013 the foreign channels (ARTE, TV5, 3Sat, ARD, ORF 1, France 2, Rai Uno, Euronews) etc MIGHT disappear from your analogue connection. After 1st January 2015 the Swiss national and local Analogue channels will close, except Joiz until 21.3.2015

http://www.digitalfernsehen.de/Analo....101918.0.html

is anyone still on Analog out there?
