Hi

I wanted to know if there is any service provider who can give indian channels to watch or atleast some english channels

we get all german channels except cnn which is the only english channel

any pointers would help

Hi, check out www.cablecom.ch for English Channels. We get BBC World, One and Two, ITV 1, CNN to name a few.

cablecom also offers tamil channels

Do you have broadband internet connectivity? http://zattoo.com/?sessionlang=de_DE offers some English channels on the PC. Similarly, you may find Web casts of Indian TV stations.

You may consider installing a satellite dish (may require landlord's permission) and receive several hundred channels.

Best would be to install a satellite dish and then depending on what you want to see, you will have to find one or more satellites.

Why not checkout the following website, it does have some indian stations to watch and along with the rest of the world, warning though you do need a strong ADSL/Broadband internet connection.
