Sky - Pairing a new box with an existing viewing card

Hi all,

It's my first post, but I would like to thank everyone for the useful info I've been reading for the past month or so.

I recently moved back to CH from the UK and brought my Sky+ box and viewing card with me. Everything was working fine until my box decided to die. Now I need to replace it and am seeking some input as to the best way to do this.

I also have a regular Sky box as I had multi-room in the UK (since cancelled) so I've been getting by without the Sky+ features for now. However, the box knows that I'm not using the right viewing card so I can't view the movie channels (other channels haven't been affected).

When I get a new Sky+ box, how do I go about pairing my new box with my existing viewing card? Has anyone else had this issue before and/or do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance for your input.
