Ok, here is a question for all you clever tech experts.

Does cablecom HD recorder have a linked record function like Sky have in the UK? -i.e say you just want it to record TopGear everytime it is one, can you do that - or do you have to manually set recording for each episode?

Yes, Cablecom does. I think it might just say "series recording" and you answer "yes." Can't remember the exact steps as we rarely use ours since we have Sky instead now.
