Re: Internet/Phone Question, help please

Hello everybody

This is my first post to any type of forum so please forgive me if I get the protocal wrong.

My wife and I are moving to Valais (Sion) in November and would like to know if we are going to be able to receive Sky TV. We previously had a holiday home not far away near Megeve in France and were able to get Sky there using an 80cm. dish.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

David

You'll get reception, but adverse weather conditions will lead to signal degradation ( I did in Lausanne and Zürich Fyi )
Although I've been using an 80 cm dish for years, I recently bought a 1m dish and wish I'd done so a long time ago. . .

Sorry, I thought this was a thread about internet and phone questions? Just thought I'd add another post to give Lob some more work in cleaning it up...

Start here: http://www.englishforum.ch/tv-intern...tart-here.html

I'm fairly certain your question or one similar has been asked. Off the top of my head I'd say do what you did in Megève?

Re: Yet another Sky TV question

My apologies for placing my post in the wrong thread (these are all new expressions to me). As I said, I'm new to this forum business so please bear with me. (I tried to correct the spelling error of protocol but couldn't see how to do it)

Re: Yet another Sky TV question

but I do think you've found the information you've been seeking? You went through the mother-of-all-threads earlier (and it kept you quiet )
