Internet,satellite dish and receiver

Hello PPl,
I will be moving to zurich from munich in the next few weeks;
I have few questions hence I need your opinions

1.How long does it take to activate a internet connection from Cablecom?
2.I am very confused to keep my satellite kit or to sell it as I see mixed opinions in this forum

cheers!

Re: Internet,satellite dish and receiver

1. Depends. Discussed just a few days ago - read previous threads.
2. Keep it - but it depends where you live. Again, read previous threads.

I have already sold mine, but have regretted it because of these rumours regarding BBC via Cablecom. I'd hang onto it if I were you, they're worth b*gger all second hand anyway. If you do find you want to get your English language TV injection via satellite you might want to consider buying a smaller dish when you get to Zurich (I imagine you have a 90cm one at the moment, right?) as I think you can get away with 60cm there. Worst case it sits in your cellar collecting dust. Maybe you can persuade that nice Grinner* to come and set it all up for you

* I guess you know who I am talking about

Re: Internet,satellite dish and receiver

I'd keep your 90cm dish as you'll need it here also
